-
- LaserTwin for Windows, like Windows itself, needs a place to put
- temporary files. Some of these files can be quite large.
- If you run out of disk space while printing, you may need to assign
- the TEMP files to another disk with more free space.
- (If the environment variable TEMP is not assigned the root of the drive
- with Windows on it is used.)
-
- At the end of the installation, the Install program checks to see
- if the TEMP variable is assigned. If it is, it leaves things alone.
- If the TEMP variable is not assigned the Install program finds the FIXED
- (not REMOVABLE or NETWORKed) drive with the most free space, creates
- a directory, and then gives you the option of letting it add a
- line to set the TEMP variable to the end of your autoexec.bat file.
- If you choose to let if edit the file, it first makes a backup named
- 'autoexec.ltw'.
-
- If you choose not to let it edit the file for you, it tells you the line
- to be added. In either case you will need to reboot in order for this
- change to the autoexec.bat file to take effect.
